Well, it’s FRIDAY!! My sweet husband arranged for his sister to come over this evening and watch our girls while we go out for a date night. I can’t remember the last time we had a night to ourselves. Let’s be real, we’re going to go to dinner and then call it a night because we’re old and sleep wins. Ahh, but just dinner alone is going to be so weird! A good weird, though.
Ever wondered what to do with all those broken crayons? Especially the little tiny pieces in the bottom of the crayon bin that not even your little toddler’s fingers can grip. Well, I’ve got a solution! And it’s not to throw them away, as tempting as that may be. I’ve got a fun little craft that even the kids can help participate in and it recycles every little broken crayon.
Ever since I decided on a southwestern & cactus theme for our third baby’s nursery, I’ve had a very unhealthy obsession with anything with a cactus on it. I have to fight the urge to purchase every little thing that goes with this theme. I’ve been doing really well avoiding all the cactuses lately, but when I saw this top online, I had to have it. At the price of only$14, it was no question.
Well it’s no secret that Virginia is going through some serious hot weather right now. It’s summertime, so heatwaves are to be expected. I’m trying to embrace the sunshine because before we know it, it will be freezing and I’ll be wishing for these hot summer days. I’ve been preferring smaller, cold snacks over hot, filling food lately and this Banana Nutella Milkshake is one of my favorite treats this summer. It’s cool, sweet and refreshing.. and super easy to make!
