If you know me, you know I’m on a cactus theme kick right now. I wanted to make something with the kids and luckily this cactus craft required items that we already had. We got to work on them right after breakfast. Even my 18 month old got in on this one. I think they turned out so cute!
DIY’s + Crafts
Ever wondered what to do with all those broken crayons? Especially the little tiny pieces in the bottom of the crayon bin that not even your little toddler’s fingers can grip. Well, I’ve got a solution! And it’s not to throw them away, as tempting as that may be. I’ve got a fun little craft that even the kids can help participate in and it recycles every little broken crayon.
With Independence Day quickly approaching, I thought it would be fun to do a festive craft with my three year old while her baby sister napped. I honestly did not plan for this craft at all and just looked at what supplies we already had around the house. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but I thought it was easy and cute enough to share.
Sometimes on the weekends, my family naps all at once and I get a little quiet time to myself. Usually that means cleaning or laundry for me, but this weekend I decided to do a little DIY project I had been wanting to try. It didn’t go quite as planned and I would definitely do a few things different next time, but I still love how it turned out!
