Outfit of the Day – My Fall Favorites

Cooler weather is here and thank goodness because I don’t know how many more 90 degree days I can take. I’m ready to start layering my outfits and honestly can’t wait to wear a scarf every single day.

I’ve recently picked up a few new items to add to my fall wardrobe and have really been trying to focus on staple pieces that I can mix and match easily. I don’t have a ton of time to plan my outfits, so the easier it is to pick out clothes, the better. I’ve found that sticking with solids and neutrals is easiest. Patterns are great but they usually go out of style fairly quickly compared to neutrals and solids. Think tans, whites, grays, blacks.. even blush pinks!

I recently picked up this Floppy Felt Hat from Old Navy and I totally feel like Carmen Sandiego. I’m not usually much of a hat kind of girl, but this one is a keeper. It falls floppy perfectly on it’s own and it gives me all the fall feels. It comes in ‘Wine Purple’, too!

This Open-Front Super-Long Cardigan is also from Old Navy. Perfect for layering! It’s neutral, so it matches most outfits and it’s so soft. Mine is size petite small for reference and in the color ‘Palomino’. It’s available in three other colors, too!

I’ve been loving these Halogen flats! They are such a fun print and I love the lace up look. They stay tied all day and don’t hurt my feet. Yay! Nordstrom has a variety of colors and I kind of want them all!

Sometimes..¬†Most of the time taking blog photos makes me giggle. Maybe one day I’ll get used to it, but probably not, haha! Anyway, I wanted to mention these BP Cotton Moto Leggings. The last time I checked they were sold out (sad face) but hopefully they come back in stock because everybody needs a pair of these! They’re not maternity (nothing I have on in this post is) but they’ve been my best friend towards the end of this pregnancy. They’re super stretchy and comfortable. I got them in size small and in both colors, black and olive, because.. why not?!
