Sleeveless Smock Sundress With Lace Up Back

Another Asos maternity dress coming atchaaa! Okay, so maybe I’m getting better at shopping for maternity clothes. At least I think I am. Despite my husband referring to this dress as a “mumu”, I’ve received multiple compliments on it already (in front of him, ha!), so I’ll take that as a win.

Oh and shout out to my belly button! After three kids, I think this is just what it looks like now.

Another shout out to those tomato plants in our raised bed garden back there! They have literally taken over the garden, but given us no red tomatoes yet. What gives? I’m new at this gardening thing. We have, however, gotten a ton of squash and cucumbers so far. You would think being born in a small country town I would know what I’m doing, but I don’t. I’ve got my city boy husband teaching me all about gardening.

I feel fun and kiddie (is that a word) when I wear this dress. Despite being 6 months pregnant, I feel like I can keep up with my 1 and 3 year old in it. It’s light weight, loose and super comfortable. To continue the “fun” theme, I paired it with these Mossimo Kassandra Gladiator Sandals from Target.

I love the fun lace up detail in the back. It adds just a little extra something to this simple summer dress. I feel like I have plenty of room to grow into it this season, so it’ll probably be my go-to for a while. There’s just so much to love about this dress. The best thing — it’s only $11 right now! I ordered a size 2 – petite, for reference and I’m 5’4”.

Don’t judge my dress wrinkles — they match my face, k? And peep my 3 year old’s soccer goal and ball in my glasses’ reflection. Gotta do something while mom and dad have a photo shoot in the front yard.
I hope you all are having an amazing short week. I’m still tired from July 4th fun, and I’m using that excuse until, at least, Friday.
xo Kristen
