My Ride or Die Drugstore Products

My Top 5
Holy Grails

I’m always trying new products, especially drugstore products because of their prices. I’ve slowly added new things into my routine and gotten rid of old ones. There are some products that just stick, though. My Holy Grails.. My Ride or Dies. Here are some of my favs!

1. Dove Dry Shampoo

Moms everywhere, I know y’all are already with me on this one. I’ve been using dry shampoo for years, even before I had kids. Granted, back then I was using it more for volume than the grease that now accumulates in this mop. My husband makes fun of me every time he sees me using it. I tried to explain to him that it’s not healthy to wash my hair every day —  he’s not buying it. Whatevs. Third day hair gives me the best curls and hold. And this product gives me that refreshed feeling. It smells amazing and it really does give great volume. I am a forever fan of this product.

2. Maybelline Age Rewind Under Eye Concealer

My under eyes need assistance on the daily. Being pregnant/no sleep + two toddlers = exhaustion to the max. Some days, I’ve got under eye circles that nightmares are made of. This concealer brightens my entire under eye area and actually works great as a highlighter base before I bake. (Sorry husband, not the kitchen kind). The packaging and application of this concealer is so perfect. I actually apply this right after my primer and then again after foundation. Layers on layers, no shame.

3. L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara

This is the best mascara, hands down. Even after trying many top name brands, I have always come back to this one. It’s the bomb. If you haven’t tried it, you should!

4. Ardell Wispies

Lashes. We all know lashes just take it up a notch — they complete the look. Though my mascara above gets the job done, I love Ardell Wispies so much. The demi wispies are beautiful, too. It took me forever to master applying falsies. I have no patience. (Let that glue sit.. and sit.. and sit some more before applying; it needs to be super tacky) Now that I finally got the hang of it, it’s a must for a full face routine. Ardells are great because I can get a few uses out of each pair and they’re super affordable!

5. NYX Butter Gloss – Fortune Cookie

This gloss is always in my bag. It’s the perfect shade of nude for day to day wear. It not only gives medium coverage color, but also conditions and softens your lips. It lasts, but it’s not sticky like most colored glosses. ‘Fortune Cookie’ is my all-time favorite. I actually have to order this shade online because my Target is usually sold out. It’s that good!

What are some of your favorite drug store products??
