I never thought I’d get to the end of this pregnancy, but here we are in week 36. I guess it’s time to really start preparing for the big day. My last two labors were just a few hours from first contraction to baby being born, so I need to have everything set to go. I probably still overpacked a little, even though this is my third go at this rodeo, but I’m an over packer. It’s just who I am!
Being a mother of two, almost three, leaves me very little time for self-care and pampering. I definitely have to plan way ahead whenever I want to get a haircut or manicure. I can’t remember the last time I stepped foot in an actual spa; probably when my husband and I were dating.
Ever since I decided on a southwestern & cactus theme for our third baby’s nursery, I’ve had a very unhealthy obsession with anything with a cactus on it. I have to fight the urge to purchase every little thing that goes with this theme. I’ve been doing really well avoiding all the cactuses lately, but when I saw this top online, I had to have it. At the price of only$14, it was no question.
I thought I had so much more time before we got to preschool days. I remember when my 3 year old was a squishy little newborn and some of my friends’ older kids were starting Pre-K. I was so relieved because I really thought I had all the time in the world before having to face my first born starting school. Well.. here we are.
I’m so excited about this top from PinkBlush Maternity, y’all! I was nervous ordering it online, but once I tried it on, I instantly fell in love.
Another Asos maternity dress coming atchaaa! Okay, so maybe I’m getting better at shopping for maternity clothes. At least I think I am. Despite my husband referring to this dress as a “mumu”, I’ve received multiple compliments on it already (in front of him, ha!), so I’ll take that as a win.
Gingham print and summer go together like peanut butter and jelly. I even have red gingham pillows out on my couch. (Ok, confession.. they’ve been there all year). But I just love the print! It makes me think of picnics, sunshine, lemonade.. all the summer feels.
These letter boards are apparently the thing right now.
This is my first summer pregnancy (and probably my last pregnancy, ever.. maybe)
